The Sordo Barolo Chinato is a rare and digestive wine, produced in the Piedmont area. The recipe for making this Barolo is traditional, in fact it derives from an ancient recipe of the Sordo family. Historically it was prepared in their home as a remedy for seasonal ailments. During the winemaking process, the wine is infused with barks, herbs, China Calissaia and some aromatic herbs from the Piedmont Alps. Finally, the wine matures in oak barrels until it reaches the right balance of flavors.
