The raw materials used to create Bitter Gancia: alcohol, sugar, herbs and aromatic spices, the main ones being cinchona and gentian. The preparation of Bitter Gancia takes place in two phases: the first is the infusion and the second is the distillation. In the first phase, the herbs and roots are ground, pulverized and subsequently immersed in a hydro-alcoholic solution. The solution is left to macerate for a period of about 21 days. Once the maceration and the extraction of the aromatic part have been completed, the solution obtained is decanted for a month so that it takes on a certain degree of clarity.
