Domenis Storica Nera

Domenis Storica Nera is a grappa produced by the historic Domenis distillery in Friuli. It is produced with the Friulian pomace of Merlot, Cabernet and Refosco. During the manufacturing process, the pomace is ensiled for several months in silos sheltered from the air. Subsequently, they are distilled with the discontinuous steam method in copper stills. Through careful dilution with water and various cold filtrations, the “Storica” is able to take shape. The refinement lasts for 12 months in steel. This distillate represents the perfect balance between aromas and alcohol content.
