Thus it was that a boy of about fifteen had the dazzling intuition of what a life lived could have been like in the light of his realization. The meeting between the very young Maurizio Zanella and the sweetness of Franciacorta, when his mother moved to Erbusco and planted the first vineyard, is the first contact of what would have been the love of a lifetime. But it is after a trip to Champagne, whose destination is the famous maisons where the wine that has always fascinated and ignites the imagination is born, that Maurizio returns with the adamant idea of creating something similar. What was once a house immersed in a chestnut wood has been transformed into one of the most modern and advanced wineries in Italy.
