Barolo DI Pico Maccario is a red wine produced in the Piedmont area. Obtained from the grapes of the Nebbiolo vines. The Maccario winery is now historic and emblem of the territory. Here the soil is characterized by calcareous marl, rich in sands and microelements. The harvest is done by hand, selecting the best bunches. The vinification process follows traditional methods and the maceration lasts 2o days. As for the refinement and aging it takes place in French oak barrels for a period of 18 months and to follow another 12.
