Gin Elephant is produced in Germany in the distillery near Hamburg. It is a London Dry made up of several botanicals from South Africa. There are in fact bucco, boabab, African absinthe but also apples and juniper berries from Tuscany, ginger, Austrian mountain pine and Mexican allspice. This gin is produced using traditional methods. First the maceration of the spices in alcohol takes place, then the distillation in copper stills. African spices give the gin exotic hues. The European ones give it body and structure. Each bottle is hand numbered.
