Produced in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area. The grapes to create Livio Felluga’s Picolit are harvested manually and differentiated according to the degree of ripeness of the berries. Once dried, it is delicately de-stemmed and passed in a soft way. The must obtained is clarified by decanting, once the process is finished, it is left to ferment at a controlled temperature in small French oak barrels. Once the fermentation process is complete, the wine is put on the lees in small oak barrels for about 18 months. A further 18 months are needed for the final refinement in the bottle in thermo-conditioned rooms.
