The “Kunst.Stück” project was conceived starting from the 2014 vintage to celebrate the vine that best interprets the vintage with all its advantages and difficulties. The Alto Adige Merlot Riserva DOC “Kunst.Stück” of the 2018 vintage is produced with selected grapes from two distinct vineyards: the first at 360 meters and the other at 220 meters above sea level, therefore different for climatic conditions and soil composition. A part of the grapes, about 10%, was dried in crates, and the subsequent fermentation was carried out in wooden barrels. The maturation of 18 months in French oak barriques has made its contribution in terms of olfactory complexity and gustatory roundness. A work of art of nature, a still image in the passage of time, to be allocated a limited edition in magnum format.
