Pico Maccario Barbera d’Asti Superiore “Epico”

The Epic of Pico Maccario was born on soft Pleistocene hills attributed to the ancient fluvial and fluvial-lacustrine. It is made up of Barbare grapes only, harvested only when I reach optimal ripeness. They are then de-stemmed-crushed and left to macerate for a period of about 15-20 days. Aging takes place in small French oak barrels for 12/14 months, further refinement takes place in the bottle before being put on the market.
