Lavignone is a rosé, produced in the Piedmont area. The Pico Macario winery is located in Mombaruzzo and extends over several hectares. Here vineyards are planted with Barbera on predominantly clayey soils. For the production of this wine the grapes are harvested at full maturity with the right ratio of acidity and sugars. During the winemaking process there is a brief contact between the must and the skins. Following the immediate separation, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C. Aging takes place in small fine American oak barrels.
