The distillate belongs to the category of so-called “traditional rums”, as it is produced from molasses. Ron Varadero is one of the most historic producers of Cuban Rum, it was the first to experiment and propose versions of Ron aged 5, 10 and 15 years. All production activities are carried out inside the historic cellar, where the Maestros Roneros work following the dictates of tradition to create unique blends. The Rum Añejo from the Ron Varadero distillery ages for a period of 5 years in oak barrels, offers a complex variety of aromas, from tropical fruit to caramel, blond tobacco and cocoa, and on the palate it is very balanced and velvety, with notes of vanilla , cocoa and spices.
