Amaro Rupes Gold is made from herbs. Its processing involves the cold method with the infusion of a hydroalcoholic solution in steel vats for a period of about 20 days. Then water and sugar are added to reduce the excessive presence of alcohol. The refinement takes place for at least three months in French oak barrels. Inside there are fennel, bay leaf and Calabrian licorice. These herbs give the Amaro the right freshness, persistence and character to the taste. It won first place at the 2021 Word Liqueur Awards for the herbal bitter category.
