The Big Peat is a Scotch whiskey produced by the Douglas Laing distillery. It is a peaty blended. It represents the essence of the Isle of Islay. During the manufacturing process it is not cold filtered, dyes are added. It is aged for at least 12 years. It was awarded 96 punt i and as best blended whiskey of 201 1 by Whiskey Bible by Jim Murray .

Colore: Giallo paglierino con riflessi dorati.
Profumo: Si percepiscono aromi di malto d’orzo e torba. Cenni tostati di caffè in grani e mandorle. Piccola sfumatura piccante sul finale.
Gusto: Al palato è morbido ed equilibrato nel gusto un pò dolce e speziato. Il finale è persistente .
