James Pepper Bourbon is a whiskey produced in Kentucky. It is made up of 56% corn, 40% rye and 4% barley malt. The Pepper distillery was the first to market whiskey in the area in 1780. Today they are known as Woodford Reserve and the other distillery is located in Lexington. This whiskey is aged in 4 years in new charred oak barrels. It does not undergo any filtration.
