Terre Alte is considered one of the most prestigious Italian white wines. The harmony between three types of Sauvignon, Friulano and Pinot Bianco grapes creates a rich and elegant wine. After destemming, the grapes are left to macerate for a short time. Pressed softly, a must is obtained which is clarified by making it decant. Sauvignon and Pinot Bianco ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and mature for about 10 months. The Friulano, on the other hand, ferments and ages in small French oak barrels. Once the maturation is over and this 10-month period is over, the wines are blended, thus creating the Terre Alte. Once bottled, it will age for a further 9 months in thermo-conditioned rooms.
