L’Ornellaia is a red produced from the 2010 harvest. The production area is Bolghieri, in Tuscany. Tenuta dell’Ornellaia has always been synonymous with experience, quality and competence. In this area there are several hectares of vineyards. During the harvesting process only the best and most valuable grapes are selected. Each variety is vinified separately. Fermentation took place in stainless steel wines at a temperature of 26-30 ° for a week, followed by maceration for 10-15 days. As for the malolactic fermentation, it took place in oak barriques. The wine rests at a controlled temperature in the cellar for 18 months. Before being put on the market, it remains in the bottle for another 12 months.
