Passi di Orma is a wine produced in Antonio Moretti Cuseri’s Orma winery. It is located in the Bolgheri area, a fraction of the northern Maremma. Bolgheri has in fact always been an area renowned for high quality wines. The vineyards extend for several hectares on a deep soil composed of pebbles, clay and sand. The wine is produced using grapes from the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vineyards. The spurred cordon training system is used during its production. As for fermentation and maceration, they are carried out at a controlled temperature for 18 days. Finally, the maturation takes place in small barrels for 6 months and the refinement for another 6.
