Controlled designation of origin The Barbera d’Alba wine is a historic wine from the Langa hills, dating back to the early 1900s. All the previous vineyards had been destroyed by the filossera and Barbera was chosen to rebuild them. The processing of the grapes, harvested in their full maturity, takes place by crushing-destemming and then maceration for 2 weeks with a submerged cap. The vinification, on the other hand, takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. Everything is always left to mature in stainless steel tanks for about 6 months. Finally, the refinement in the bottle for about 3 months.
