For the production of Livio Felluga Refosco, the grapes are gently de-stemmed and then subjected to pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers by macerating the skins at a controlled temperature. Frequent pumping over is carried out for three weeks, in this way it is possible to extract color and aromas from the skins. At the end of the three weeks, the pressing takes place. The maturation of the extract takes place for about 12 months in small French oak barrels. Once bottled, the wine is usually stored in temperature-controlled rooms for at least four months
