The Maharis is produced in Noto, Sicily. Wine is a symbol of the encounter between different styles and cultures, in particular the Arab one. The name originates from the name of the tower that the Arab people used for sightings. The soils of this area are calcareous and the climate is warm, this gives the grapes a perfect ripeness and a fruity and mineral tone. The traditional sapling method is used during production. The temperature-controlled vinification process lasts about 25 days. As for the maturation it takes from 1 to 16 months, in small barrels. Finally, the refinement in the bottle lasts 6 months.
