Tequila Sierra Reposado is produced with Agave plants from the Los Altos area of Mexico. Agave plants are steamed very slowly, fermentation takes place with proprietary yeasts and is distilled twice in different copper stills in a discontinuous cycle. For the Reposado version, the Tequila rests for 9 months in toasted oak barrels with a maximum capacity of 700 liters. It is monitored 24 hours a day by the technical team of the Bodegas Sierra.
