Amaro Important Jefferson was born in Calabria, from an ancient recipe from 1871 by Captain Jefferson, who found shelter, after a shipwreck between Tropea and Paola, in an old bonded warehouse. The secret of its success can be traced back to the mix of herbs and citrus fruits that are used to compose this important bitter. Bitter and sweet oranges, bergamot, rosemary, eucalyptus, oregano and bitter herbs are used. All the raw materials are picked in flower and worked by hand. The Amaro Important Jefferson is left to rest for 40 days in the bottle before being put on the market, after a period of 9 months of preparation.
