Vintage Tunina is composed of a quality cuvée of really important grapes: Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia. The first harvest and the tests of the blend date back to the 1973 harvest, while the first put on sale dates back to 1975. The grapes that make up this wine are harvested late, about two weeks after the normal harvest. The name Tunina comes from the name of the old property of the land on which the vineyard is located is from the poorest lover of Casanova. The label was modernized in 2003 after Silvio Jermann visited the Abbey of Monreale in Palermo, embellishing it with a Greek statue that develops around a hexagon.
