L’Ornellaia is a red wine produced in the Tenuta dell’Ornellaia. It is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The grapes were harvested by hand, the bunches were first carefully selected and then subjected to soft pressing. Each grape variety was vinified separately. During the manufacturing process, the fermentation in stainless steel vats was carried out at a temperature of 26-30 ° for a week. Subsequently, the malolactic fermentation took place in oak barrels, at a controlled temperature for about 18 months. The wine then rested for another 12 months in the bottle before being sold.

Description
Colore: Rosso rubino intenso.
Profumo: Sentori di frutta rossa, funghi e corteccia.
Gusto: Al palato risulta equilibrato, ampio e rotondo con tannini vellutati. Il vino risulta persistente e dalla forte mineralità.
